Battery charges filed against Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin for an incident at a Las Vegas nightclub in October were dropped Tuesday.
Griffin faced a misdemeanor battery charge after he was accused of slapping Daniel Schuman and taking his cellphone after Schuman photographed Griffin and his teammates at Tao.
According to Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, the allegations against Griffin could not be proved.
It is unclear whether or not a civil case will be filed. Griffin was not present for Tuesday’s decision in Las Vegas. The Clippers are on the road against the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
