Los Angeles Clippers
Los Angeles Lakers
MVP: Blake Griffin got it done, giving the Lakers a game-high 18 points on a game-high 14 shots. No Clipper was on the floor more than Griffin, who logged 31 minutes in three quarters. Griffin also added five rebounds and five assists.
That was … the new normal: The Clippers won by “only” 28 points tonight. They were up by as many as 43, so it could have been a whole lot worse for the Lake Show. The Clippers came into this game on a five-game win streak against the Lakers, winning those games by an average of 27.8 points. Tonight marked the fewest points (78) the Clippers ever allowed against the Lakers in 203 meetings.
X factor: I know some of y’all don’t like seeing Hedo Turkoglu getting meaningful minutes, but he’s been shooting the three extremely well lately. Over the last 11 games, a stretch where the Clippers are 10-1, Turkoglu has made 22 of 47 threes (47 percent). Tonight, Turkoglu made four more threes for 12 points to lead the Clippers bench. Garbage time helped the Clippers outscore the Lakers bench 39-35.

Chris Paul off the back board for the Blake Griffin dunk. Clippers practices are more competitive than this.
