You are an idiot. I was at the game. Maggette played a terrific game and kept the Clippers in it in the first half. Maggette was not generally assigned to Turkulu. Turkulu was guarded by others, primarily Thornton. To say Maggette is a dumb player or some crap like that just shows how DUMB you are. What is dumb about him? That him committed a turnover by throwing the ball a hair too high over the head of a midget? Did you even watch the game? I'll tell you why the Clippers lost the game and it sure as hell wasn't Maggette. Without Maggette they are in the D league. The
Clippers lost the game because they have ZERO in the way of guard play. They get no dribble penetration from the guard position, no big men are ever set up by the guards and the guards can't hit shots. Give the present Clipper roster a decent guard (like Nelson, for example, who fed Howard with lobs all night) and they are at least a 500 team, even without their PF.

Tonight's Breakdown:

Cassell - absolutely horrible.

Kamen - in foul trouble but played a strong game when out there and showed every bit as much as Howard.

Maggette - Excellent overall game.

Thornton - Strong rebounding performance but very frustrated defensively at times in the first half.

Mobley: Decent for Mobley, which means that he was better tonight than the usual. Very one-on-one oriented and a black hole when he gets the ball.

Thomas: Easily his best game of the season. I thought he was really good in the post and going to the hoop.

Knight/Dickau: Nothing.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you score 27 Garbage points, It matters if you score 2 or 7 Crucial points and help win the Game!
