Cassell haters perplex me

I can't believe the Clips haven't traded Maggette yet.

Seriously. Every time we think Maggs is about to get traded, he isn't. I'm beginning to think that either he won't get traded or we'll get something sub-par for him.

Maybe this is the starting line up we need. Cassell and Livingston in the backcourt with Livingston playing the defensive role that Ross had as the starter. Kaman and Brand down low and Mobley on the wing for at least some outside shooting. Ross and Singleton off the bench with Thomas for outside shooting against the 2nd units. Maggette (who knows?). Then you still have Williams and Ewing for minutes and maybe Luke Jackson for more outside shooting if he works out. I wish MD would have put Jackson in for the last minute or so just to give him some time with the other players on the court. If Kaman is having a crappy night you go small with Thomas or put in Williams and Davis for size. Now let's see what MD does.

This game really shows you how great Sam Cassell is. Is there anyone in the league that can create so much with such limited resources? (meaning a slow, 37 year old, 6'3'' frame). This was vintage Cassell, who plays probably the smartest game in basketball. Makes you happy after a week of hardship in Clips nation.

Welcome back Sam Cassell, how bad have we & Elton needed you back in the lineup. Good to see some three point action. Long way to go though they had 3 good players out.

Sam was great but he was not playing against Chris Paul tonight. Minnesota will be great test for new line up.

Our focus should be on losing another 19 regular season games. Winning just 45 games to secure #8 spot behind Kings or Warriors or TWolves should be our goal for this season. #8 team will face #1 Dallas. That's our team of preference.

If Sammy(he looked like fried bananas when it all ended) can do it Mobley can do it too. Need 25 points from Mobley against TWolves. Hello, Mobley...think every game you play is infront of Laker crowd as a motivation. Imagine Laker crowd in your soft head... you can pump yourself up to score 20 points a game. No more Maggette. It's all yours for taking.
