LOL! You are a sick man Anti-Clipper, bordering on Troll status really.

Give some hate to Mobley, he makes more than Maggette. It will do you a world of good.

Hey... do they keep stats on the Clippers in the Blue Alternate Jerseys?

I dont think they've EVER won a game in those wretched things.

I thought the point of the alternate jerseys was to sell them. I dont see anyone strolling around in LA with those horrid things on.

I love the red ones--- so simple yet classy. I'd ask them to redesign the current uniforms but I dont trust the Clippers brass. They might come out with something so horrid (pistons seahorse, rockets pinstripes, wizards disaster) that i might have to change favorite teams and start rooting for a D League team.

Well if they do change the uniforms then Clipper Darryl would have to change his jumpsuit.

I'm a Suns fan now after the Shaq trade. Would love to see Shaq punk Kobe once again and get another ring.

I like the blue. I also like the Wizards' uniform. In other sports, they have more uniform to show and they can help captivate the imagination. Did you ever collect the miniature NFL helmets when you were a kid? With what little uniform there is in the basketball, they might as well make something of a statement. The Clippers are boring enough (all NBA bball for that matter compared to college hoops). A little imagination in the uniform couldn't hurt.

I guess we are talking uniforms now because there isn't that much else to talk about on this blog other than Lotto.....

Al is a baller. Another terrific game. How did the Clippers ever pick this guy? I think he's the best rookie in the league. Total steal last year. That's why I say the draft is a crap shoot.

Thorton needs to go back to the bench, hopefully Tim Thomas will get better. Yesterday was a devestating win. The draft position is quickly going from 4 to 10-12.

If we had a decent coach who could have set up plays for Thorton at the start of the season, maybe the Clippers would be a bit closer to 500.

ACD is a troll. When you are constantly ripping a stand-up guy who is the team's second best player and who has All-Star level numbers then something is way wrong with you. I don't think Corey stole ACD's girlfriend or refused to sign his autograph or anything like that (although if he ever goes to the Starbuck's in Reseda he should avoid the little Anti-Clipper). What kind of person goes on a Clippers Blog as the "Anti-Clipper" anyway.

Pure Troll.

The Anti-Clipper Darryl name was written in my first post protesting against that clown in the suit that goes to the Clipper games.

I have now pulled an "MC HAMMER" and am removing the "MC" from my name, figuratively. ACD it is.

Anyway, Dont disillusion yourself by thinking Maggs is an "all-star level player". All Stars are all stars. It is safe to say Maggs will NEVER be an all-star.

Just because the dude is the 2nd best player on your favorite team, doesnt mean you have to love his game. I dont take personal shots at him-- only his game.

No Stars? wrote:

Nonsense. Quality players don't want to play for Clippers. Al Thornton is still upset about being picked up by Clips. The way Maggette's being treated by the Coach & some clueless fans is ridiculous. It's NOW & WHAT's AVAILABLE ON HANDS RIGHT NOW. Learn to use your available players & maximise return.

Who cares about stupid IQ(MDSr.)& T-Mac Style? Just play hard & produce(like Maggette, Brand & Al Thornton). That's why Pistons don't have ALLSTARS. They have players who play hard & produce results.

But Clipper fans have right to dream & endlessly complain about nothing.

ProgramPrint.com wrote:

What are you talking about 'No Stars?' Can't tell who you're trying to bash. I guess you're saying it's the coach's fault, which most of us agree.

Should we not be complaining?
02/13/08 10:56:56

ACD wrote:

"No Stars" is obviously misguided and misinformed. Detroit has 4 starting players that have all been all-stars.

Who cares about IQ? IQ is what makes Sam Cassell effective at 38. It's what made Larry Bird a top 50 player. It's what made John Stockton.

Simply putting up numbers dont count for shit. Everyone in the NBA is talented. It's the little things that make you a winner.

Clippers that play hard on both ends every night are limited to EB and QROSS.
On most nights
02/13/08 11:31:58

Mike wrote:

hahahahaha QRoss! I almost fell out of my chair at that one. That guy is a total scrub who wouldn't be in the NBA if not for the DUNCE.

ACD . . . buttboy of DUNCY and QROSS.

More trolling. . .
02/13/08 11:45:01

ACD wrote:

Okay...i agree that QROSS is not Bruce Bowen, but he's their best defensive player. If they didnt have him, Maggette or Mobley woul have to guard the other team's best player in crunchtime...and that would be a disaster on most nights.

Yes, his offense is horrendous, but that's why he's not in the ballgame with 12 seconds to play, down by 1.

Besides, he's cheap and he busts his ass. I'd prefer he NEVER shoots the ball, but what can you do... He helps more than he hurts.

On another note, i didnt totally disagree with Dunleavy's decision to start him over Maggs last year. Maggs would have been one of the league's top 6th men. the 2nd unit was lacking offense and that was a good solution. But Magg's sulking led to trade talk that ruined team chemistry and may have led to the team's subpar performance.

The Clips could clear some cap room [though I urge them not to spend it on the Westside Rentals loon], and rid Staples of his once-endearing, but increasingly tiresome shtick. As I told Abbott this morning, I'd trade Darrell Bailey for a deli spread and three cubic liters of pre-jump-ball talc.
