OUCH. that hurt. From the ESPN Game Watch it looked like the Kings were playing the bench and we still couldn't come through. Hopefully someone more deserving make the playoffs! No, the Flakes are certainly not that team right now, but the GSW seems to be on fire which at the end of the day is what the playoffs should be all about.

How pathetic is it when a team has a must win at home and lets the last place team come in and not just beat them but disgrace and embarass them. This is not a team that belongs in the playoffs. The kings made them look like amateurs on defense and when the Clips had trouble scoring why didn't they get the ball to Magette more often or at all? Look what he did in the secong half. By the time they played some defense the game was almost out of hand. They didn't even need Bibby in the fourth quarter to finish the job. It may be the players fault for collecting their big salaries and not coming to play but I think a lot falls on the heads of the coaches. If Larry Brown were the head coach they may have lost but he would stepping on their throats and stabbing them in their hearts (or lack of) all the way to the final buzzer. My take on the Clips:

1. Tim Thomas is a lazy piece of garbage.
2. Mike Dunleavy's substitutions are horrible. How could he substitute Maggette and Mobley in the 4th quarter - the most critical game of the season. I sit in section 113 (next to Elgin) and even he was shaking his head in disgust!
3. Jason Hart is what he is - a 3rd string point guard.
4. Sam Cassell is too slow to have on the court.

Sad day in Clipperland. Tough to have 5 games in 7 days, but they should have played through it. Doug's takes are right on, particularly the comments about Dunleavy's substution patterns.

We are running out of options,

Best Case scenerio:
1. Lakers lose the last 2 games, Clippers win the last 2 games.
2. Clippers win last 2 games and G.S. loses one of the against the Mavs or Blazers
3. Clippers don't make the playoffs and the clips get the 1 or 2 pick, Minny's pick drops to 11. We get the 1 or 2 pick and Minny's pick after 10.

Ohhhh man, we need some for any of these to happen.

I Feel sick to my stomach

I should have known we were going to lose this Game. I have a buddy, who shall not be named, that Whenever he attends a clipper home game the clippers lose. He has a horrid record of 8-35.
Everytime he watches the game live, we lose by 20, to bad teams and lose 20 pt leads.

He was in the building this afternoon, I am going to strangle the fan who sold the tickets to my friend.

The most frustrating thing is that he knows that he's bad luck to the Clips. Arrggghhhhh!!!!

Dunleavy sucks, Tim Thomas sucks, we're not getting the #1 or #2 pick as QD hopes for, the Wolves wised up and benched Garnett so they are a lock to finish in the bottom 10...so we will have two picks in the 11-15 range. Maybe we can find another Wilcox or Korolev if we're really lucky.

there were some fights at the game, none of which involved me even though i took the liberty of taunting and needling everyone in sight. darrell was there in the PR section above where he usually sits. the clipper nation was well-represented, surprisingly. of course once the lakers lost the classic comeback of their fans was to point at the championship banners. kareem isn't walking through that door, magic isn't walking through that door, shaq walks through that door for another team w/ an extra ring. so kindly stfu, laker douchebags.
