nice 1st half. I'm shocked for sure. What kind of energy will the nugs bring in 2nd half?
O.K. Mike Smith, as much as i believe the n.w.o. should've imposed a global 2 child max rule 50 years ago, that's a nice looking crew you have there. Future solid citizens I'm sure.

Joe Walsh in the house with a nice Milf.
Halftime Disco Stilts looks maybe even better than the dancing grandmas.

Awesome win without EB, SL * CM.
Kaveman 17pts 22 rebounds, Al Thornton helps out with 10 rebounds.

Nuggs had 17 more pings at the basket and we rebounded them 53 to 39

Not having the luxury of watching the game (all they show HERE on Fox & ESPN is the bloody Lakers) it sounds as though the Clips played with real heart.

NICE

nice to see thorton step up. this will build his confidence for the next few games. good to see q ross get his shot again.

but what bugged me was mike smith; he isn't a clipper fan. he just keeps saying how he doesn't believe in this team.

I can't knock M.Smith for the lack of faith. On paper...with the injuries and the way the Nuggs have been going, i was wondering if we could at least not get a double digit loss.
Nice going Al T. and Dan D. as well doing what he was supposed to and not looking awful at any point. Ate a bunch of minutes and ran it like a pro.
T.T., pull those clutch hits off once a week and we'll all love you...or at least stop riding your ass.
Real pleased to get this one.
Taking the nephews on Saturday.

I'm a heavy Nuggets fan. I watch all 82 Powder Blues games like Kevin watches all 82 Clips outings.

And here's how I knew that game was lost halfway through the 1st quarter:

I could sense the Nuggs were mailing it in, it was the second night of a back-to-back on the road heading into the holiday, and the Clips were shorthanded - all signs that it was a danger game.

And as a rabid Nuggets fan, I didn't care.

And if I didn't care, why should the Nuggets care enough to go out and win the thing? That's what happens when you haven't had a competitive game in what seems like months.

Congrats to the Clips.

Kamen was Kamen. Q and TT both hit big open shots. And despite a quiet looking line, I thought Cat was the difference maker. He got under 'Melo's skin, and 'Melo's foul trouble was the key in keeping him from getting a 4th quarter rhythm.

I thought the crucial play of the game was a Clips play out of a timeout in the 4th where they ran a beautiful set play to get TT an open 3 that he knocked down.

Happy the League Pass gave me the LA feed. Always a pleasure to hear Lawler work.

Jesus.

Quinton was a career 4 for 24 from the 3 point line heading into tonight's game.

He was 3 for 4 tonight.

i thought dan dickau did a good job running the point. he drew some fouls and didn't have turnovers.

hope brevin knight isn't out for a while.

yeah, i'll agree we got the nuggets on a bad night but they did put up their numbers still. iverson with like 24 and melo with 22 and camby with 16? just not good enough this time.

J.R. Smith's stupid foul on Dickau in the 3rd that resulted in three made free throws was another crucial moment in the game.

You could see the disgusted look on Camby's face the second the whistle blew. J.R. is a constant threat to produce something huge for either team.

"yeah, i'll agree we got the nuggets on a bad night but they did put up their numbers still"

Iverson had a nice line despite the turnovers, but 'Melo had an awful line and never looked like he found a rhythm out there.

The Nuggets as a team never looked crisp on either side of the floor. On defense they were losing guys, and on offense, the ball was rarely getting swung to the third or fourth man to get open shots.

They dared the Clips to show up enough to beat them, and that's just what the Clips did.

And this is all from a team that coming into this game had won something like 17 out of the last 18 quarters they'd played.

"hope brevin knight isn't out for a while."

Ditto for Linas Kleiza.

Knight had 7 assists in 14 minutes when he went down. For a below average player, Knight is just an assist machine.

I'd like nothing better than for Kaman to be an All Star, but with Duncan and Yao both in that category, it's not going to happen. But every game he has like this, one after the other, he gains more respect around the league.

Saddest moment of the night, seeing Shaun, EB and Maggette sitting next to each other in street clothes.

Anyone catch Maggette's qoute in the LA Times? How watching the team tonight made him want to come back from the injury earlier? And here everyone thinks he's a gonner no matter what...

We're seeing a very heady offensive player who knows how to create shots for himself in the halfcourt. Despite finishing with a 3-13 line from the field, Thornton had his best night at a pro.
