The difference between last night and tonight: the refereeing. At the half, we are 16-16 from the free throw line. Last night we got 7 free throws in the entire game and there was that ridiculous no call where a Spur grabbed Cat to stop a 3 on 0 break.

Solid effort to battle back after falling behind 12-0 and only be down 5 at half.

Most satisfying loss of the season.

We have enough weapons to win 10 of next 18 games.

Man, Fighting for the last spot in the playoffs....

Maybe it's all the losing but this one doesn't hurt. Its probably b/c I'm used to the losing.

I'll go hang myself now.

Sports is for entertainment. Doesn't matter if my teams losses. Houston played hard enough to win and we played smart but lost.

So what? There are 18 more games to play. Atleast we are now confident about post season chances if we play Spurs & Houston.

What we gained from these 2 games is: CONFIDENCE. We didn't have it when our team left LA. That's big enough victory for us. I didn't expect them to play this good. But they did. Let's not get too greedy here. Brand is BACK. That's good enough reason for us to be confident.

Sports is NOT about entertainment. I don't pay over 15k a year to be entertained. I want to win. That's all that matters. If you want entertainment, go to a fucking movie.

"Doesn't matter if my team loses." That's all I needed to read. What an embarassment.

Adam, I share your frustations like almost all Clipper fans. But we have reasons to be optimistic. There's something we have been witnessing with this team since the allstar break.

Few examples:

1. Maggette is back with this team.
2. Brand is back from his fatigue plagued season.
3. Kaman is just unbelievable.
4. TThomas & Mobley are playing hard.
5. We are trying to run our offense without Cassell & Shaun. And so far, we have managed to perform well.

We are beginning to build our identity as a solid team without Cassell first time since he arrived in LA.

That's big enough move. Let's raise our confidence first. Everything else will fall into place.

Elton Brand is not fatigued.

Elton Brand got married.

And that's the problem with his game.

Elton: "Ok honey, I'm going to get some extra work in with Corey and Sam."

Wife: " Why do you always have to spend your off time working out? Besides, I don't really like Sam anyway. He makes me feel uncomfortable."

Elton: "I'm a professional basketball player and there are people who count on me to perform. C'mon baby, we talked about this before."

Wife: "You're right. I'm sorry. You go workout. But before you go, let me show you this special surprise I got just for you at Victoria Secret."

Elton: Ok...

hahaha, that was classic. now thats entertainment!

Dave-
You sound like a dork who never gets picked because you cant' shoot a J and constantly keeps trying to analyze and express your obvious weak knowledge of the game.
"Its not whether you win or lose, its how you play the game" Weak-ass philosophy bud.

Thank you, J-Smooth.

We understand their frustrations. But working hard to create discord in Clipper Nation? That's a waste of time.
But they have a right to dream about Brand leaving & Livingston ending his career.
