Who ever said Dunleavy can't adapt or ever learn? He puts out his best lineup of the year for substantial portions of the first half: C- Kaman, PF - Powell, SF- Thornton, SG - Maggette, PG - Knight. It's fun to watch.

Dunleavy has displayed some creativity in the last two games. I guess it finally dawned on him that now is a time to try things out. Better late than never.

Regarding above, that's an interesting question as EB has already signed an offer sheet with Miami only to have the Clips match.

On one hand you think that there's no chance EB could opt out having not played, or played very little by the end of the year..and on the other you see a Clipper organization that's running in mud and couldn't blame him. My guess is he'll play another year here and then weigh his otpions, but it all hinges on what marion does.

Look TT is a better fit than wilcox. Why was that even brought up? I LOVED wilcox. But if brand doesnt go down where is that guy getting his minutes? Center? Then kaveman doesnt develop. I hated seeing him go. But at the time during our playoff run that was a solid deal that brought a much needed perimeter shooter to the team. Then of course... we lost him and ended up with TT. Who i will say is a let down... But so is this entire team. If Brand leaves - we're fucked. I just hope maggs goes and we can start thorton, eb, kaveman and shop for a damned good 2... mike miller? gilbert? Last night couldnt have been more embarrassing.

one of the biggest problems i think in landing a great player via agency (and not just because we are the clippers) is that we are in the western conference. any top tier free agent like gilbert arenas would stay in the east or go to the east where he can get money and get in the playoffs and get more recognition. the west is so stacked, a top player coming to a lottery bound team isn't high on anyone's list, which would also make it harder for them to make the all-star team. besides, the clips offered arenas the same contract he got from washington and we thought we'd get him because he's an LA local and he stayed with washington. sorry for the pessimism, but our biggest free agent signing has been Cat Mobley. I like him, but i don't think that is a high benchmark for any nba team.

Dunleavy should start Maggette at shooting guard and Thornton and small forward and keep those two on the court at the same time. In don't think that the Maggette at shooting guard experiment has been given enough of a chance. The Clippers need those two on the floor at the same time. Add Brand and Kaman and it becomes a tremendous team IF Maggette can play shooting guard and I don't see why he can't. Dunleavy should at least give it a real long and serious try in these meaningless games the remainder of the year.

Look at the Houston Rocket's roster right now. The team is comprised of a bunch of journeymen and nobody's. Yet they are winning up a storm. The Clippers have way more talent even with the injuries than the Houston Rockets do now and yet they stink to high heaven while the Rockets have won 15 in a row. How is this to be explained?????

well, for one the first 11-12 they did have Yao, and McGrady isn't a journey or a nobody...and although you might not know Luis Scola, he is a solid player. And oh yeah, they have a coach with a winning philosophy

I was looking at Dunleavy's stats. He actually had worse seasons with the Bucks. One year he only had 20 wins.
