when you call a timeout under 2 minutes left in the game, at least draw up a play to where the Clippers get a shot off. I don't care if it's a bad shot, but this 24 second clock is not going to go away and you do need to draw up a play to actually shoot the ball.

The Denver 3 reminded me of Raja Bell last year in the playoffs.

These are the times when you really miss a point guard. Hart's done a great job; however, he's not a guy that can help direct your offense in late game situations. On several possessions in the fourth quarter, things got very confusing, and I don't think it was because of the Nuggets defense. However, the last two possessions of the game were classic Dunleavy(idiot). I know that Kaman had five fouls, but how in the world can you pull him on the defensive end. What if we needed a rebound? Also, what in the hell was Qross doing on the floor with 14 seconds left? This guy's gotta be the most inept offensive player on the club. The Clips didn't execute down the stretch. However, Dunleavy's "tinkering" continues to kill the club in late game situations.

Good loss. Let Denver settle on #6th spot. With Golden State at #7, Clippers & Lakers will battle it out for #8.

First Clips game I've watched closely in weeks, and I've gotta say that in light of their recent winning, in regards to their ongoing argument through much of the season, Maggette was right and Dunleavy was wrong.

What was missing through the initial part of the season was a larger role for Maggette. With Cassell seemingly at half strength for the rest of his career, you guys NEED Maggette to make the offense multi-dimensional and free up Brand.

Dunno if your announcers (I love Ralph Lawler) gave you the backstory, but in Friday night's game against Dallas, Kleiza was also scoreless before he hit a 3 pointer with about a minute left to put the Nuggets ahead for good.

He's like 2 for 13 in the past two games, and they've both been game winners.

And even though my squad won, I'm still going to have nightmares tonight of Maggette penetrating, Camby coming over to contest his shot, Maggette missing, but Brand getting the offensive rebound because Camby's out of position.

Dude had 7 offensive rebounds, most coming out of that scenario. If Iverson doesn't strip Maggette on the Clips last big possession, I bet Brand would've gotten his 8th offensive board and the Clips would've won the game.

Minus second quarter turnovers this game isn't even close. I know officials don't like to call a guy for going over the top of a smaller player but how does the ball end up out to the Nuggets in that case. Melo was all over Harts back. They could have survived a horrible turnover night if the officials would pull heads out of ass.

DUNCEleavy does it again...Qross on the last offensive possession? When Corey gave him back the ball, he looked like he had just caught a live grenade. For the umpteenth time this season I will say that Q.Ross SUCKS, hurts more than he helps...and what the F, was he doing in the game at that point. And as Doug said earlier, why the hell was Kaman (10 boards/5 blocks) not in the game on the key defensive possesion? I know DUNCEleavy. Microcoach of the century.
