Although not often discussed, [Pat] Riley actually had to be talked out of taking Central Michigan center Chris Kaman at No. 5 in 2003. His personnel staff instead pushed for the younger, less experienced Dwyane Wade.

Im a pretty optimistic person but let's face reality... If we even had the chance to draft D.Wade, I don't think the Clips Organization would have let him blossom and Blow Up like they did in Miami. For some reason deep in my gut, I know it all comes down to coaching and the lack of freedom and confidence our coaching staff gives to certain players (See James Singleton) Korolev is probably an awesome baller, if given the chance to really blossom. Why the hell else would we draft him?! CP3 is another example of a player who was given that chance with the Hornets, now he's one of the top 10 PGs in the NBA. I remember watching Daniel Ewing play against CP3 back in their college days and I could of sworn they were pretty damn close when it came to Point Guard skills. Dunleavy needs to ditch his 70's Zoot Suits, Quit over thinking his Strategies ,and just let our guys ball!!! It worked for the Warriors under Nelly's system. Look at how Matt Barnes blossomed in the playoffs... I know for a fact that Singleton is just as good and even better than Barnes is.
Gotta love the frustrations and stress it takes to be a true part of this Nation.
