Is Elton Brand a HOF-er? I dont quite know. Of course he has at least 4-6 years of good ball left in him, but it's still an iffy proposition.

Consider Chris Webber-- 5 all-star games, several all-nba selections...best player on the powerhouse Sac Kings teams...and i dont think HE is a HOF-er.

Not much good can be said about this game. TT had a good game and QRoss enjoyed coming off the bench.

Gee cannot get more depleted than that. Sounds as though TT worked hard and QR is finding some belated shooting touch.

I was at the Staple Ctr today and watching the Clippers lose to this sorry Bobcat team, has made me realize that I don't see me renewing my seats for next year.

I usually always stay to the end of the game, today was the exception. I left with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter. I could not stand staying there for one more minute.

The Clips got worked over by a more athletic and healthier team in Charlotte. The Bobcats maybe a sorry team right now, but they're heading in the right direction, even with Michael Jordan in charge of the basketball side. Even with Tim Thomas having a very good game and Ross finally waking up from his offensive slump...just another blase game by our Clippers. I was really hoping that Thornton would have a breakout game against this Bobcats, but his foul trouble killed that.

I predict Dunleavy drafts Kenny George.

I watched a game I had on tape from last year, when Livingston & Brand were healthy, and they worked well together, and Livingston ran the floor hard and shot and passed well.

We need em back together.

Thornton out tonight. Somehow I feel like the irrational among us will still be disappointed when 8 Clippers (3 of whom are point guards and one is the ghost of Aaron Williams) lose to the Hawks. Can't fight dumbness with logic I guess. Of course, its not like Thornton has really contributed much in the last week anyway.

Kamen, mags and Thorton are questionable tonight. One of them will probably play. Doesn't really matter anyway. Hopefully there will be more fans than players at the game.

You might be happy with them raising the ticket prices %15 and having one of the worst records in the league, but many people will be canceling their tickets. I wouldn't call Livingston one of the 3 best players. He couldn't even take the starting job from cassell.

On a related note, I wouldn't trade EB for Agent zero either. However, the team does need good, young, quick shooting guards. Like they could have had if they had taken Stuckey last year. My problem is that management seems to have no clue. I understand there are injuries, but it seems to me that there is no plan, poor coaching, etc. I would start the process with a new GM.

Evidently, John R is enjoying watching this crap, and is happy with his investment for this season's tickets. We'll call you the 'sole loser' that shares this position.

Hey John R, Portland lost Greg Oden and look at them dude.

Portland was able to sustain losing the number 1 pick in the draft, and is having a great season.

They were able to sustain the big injury because they've drafted well and their coach doesn't have his head in his ass.

Lastly, on the injury card that John R and MD choose to play..real men overcome adversity, not let it drag them down...losers and women do that.

In defense of Shaun L., he is the #1 guy in the team when it comes to court-vision and passing ability. Give him a year or so and he'll easily be one of the all-round top 3 Clippers...

And can we stop the in-fighting around here? It's childish and pointless. You all the like the same sport and the same team, so whether you like it or not you already have a lot in common. While you may not agree on the dynamics of the team and who is good/bad, do you have to attack each other so often?

Chris, it's not just this season dude. It's about the collective mis-handling of everything from drafting to coaching and the overall direction of the club.

Some of us would rather voice our disaproval rather than do nothing. Elgin and MD are already doing enough of that.

When someone says that it's OK to lose and use injuries as an excuse, that's a defeatist attitude.

Chris - is a true fan in your mind someone who doesn't demand competence and accountability from management and blindly, like a lemming, does whatever management asks?

I would tend to agree that the team as currently constituted cannot get to the playoffs without EB and Shaun. However, that doesn't mean that management doesn't have to sign players who will help the team, run an offense that is conducive to the skills of the players the team has, etc.

I hate dunleavy, want elgin out of there too (along with Roeser and preferably a new owner would be nice as well), want the clippers to be better and expect upper management to do something about it. I just think it's kinda childish for people to say i'm not going to renew my season tickets.

The clippers have always kinda been bad and had bad management. i love the clippers, hate that for years we were the laughing stock pun of every bad team joke in the nba, but i still loved them and stood by them and will now as we seem to ruin what could've been something special. that has been the Clippers m o and as much as i hate it, i love it and them.

I'm all for complaining and demanding change, but i'm a fan, always will be, it just bothers me when some people say they won't be if things don't change.

The whole point of season tickets is so you can get better seats at a cheaper price because you buy all the games.

You can get 3rd row center court seats today for $60 online. Besides, Laker, Celtic and Cavs games this is always the case now because Clipper games are already meaningless.

Sorry correction. This year the East really sucks, so currently the 8th team in the West is 8 games over 500. If it continues at that pace, the 8th seed will need to be 16 games over 500. So if the Clippers won every game for the rest of the season, they'd be tied for 8th (54-28). So basically tonights game is their playoff elimination game.
