It's a League Game, Smokey

You wanna know how your team is doing? Take the number of their road wins; subtract the number of home losses. Period. This ain't college football. Nobody really cares what the writers or pollsters think.

I realize you can't win road games when they aren't scheduled [Golden State last played a road game on January 7, 2002], but in general this is a much better way to handicap progress than we're accustomed to seeing.
In regard to the Clippers, let's make a deal with Mike Dunleavy. Coach, when the Clippers win three road games in a row this season, we'll put the check in the mail. Until then, just play it out, okay?

I'm writing this as I watch the Clips beating the Magic by 25 point. I watched the game with the Lakers last night in total disgust, and was talking with a friend about how the Clips have no offensive game plan and my friend was saying how he blames Dunleavy.
What was different about tonight compared to last night? You're right! The ball went into the basket tonight, but it did not last night.
