First win in new jersey in 10 years.
Another double double by kaveman 18 14 and 2 blocks and a great team effort despite the turnovers.

The clippers won, and there's a great article in the LA times about Mike and Ralph ...

That last quote is hilarious!

How often does a team win when the starting point guard does not score? (mind you he had 7 assists)

When RP's in we seem to get better results.

Cannot believe that you can't get a CK 35 guernsey on e-bay, he is the face of the team thus far this season.

Dunleavy should focus on winning at any cost & forget about pure Basketball. Ruben plays dirty & Thornton brings badly needed shock-attack. They both inject 1-2-punch for this talented team. That's enough to close out tough games.

I gotta say, Dan Dickau brought his "A" game. He actually created scoring for himself, and had some nice assists. If there is some consistency to this, Dickau could be a real help to the team. I also agree with J, we need more Ruben time, his D is awesome.

Anyone else starting to think maybe it's better to let Maggette walk after the season? He just doesn't look like he's worth over 8 million.

Seriously, after Thornton matures for one season, Maggette should be dropped. While everyone glorifies him for his "ability" and "athleticism," it seems like nobody says anything about his lack of control and utter inability to consistently make shots. Let Thornton grow, and go get another great defender. This team only wins when it it can play great defense, look at two seasons ago for proof...

Also note that two years ago, when the Clippers played great defense and played well as a team, Maggette played only 32 games. Is that just a coincidence...

A very ugly game. It was nice to see that the Clippers were not the ugliest team in this one. How did the Nets play so bad in the 4th with all their "stars"? J Kidd was the only one who looked decent. I'll take it.

Maggette is not a superstar who gets paid $15 million per season. Let's not put all burden on him for our problems.

Let's be realistic. Maggette doesn't have natural born talents & everyone knows it. But he works harder than anyone else in the team & gives 100% with dependable production.

But Dunleavy should limit Mobley, Maggette & TT's minutes to rest them.
And play Ruben, Thornton & Davis for average 20 min. per game. It's important to maintain som consistancy. It's unfortunate that we have to tell this our coach. Recently he made a disturbing comment about playing half-healthy Mobley. That shows he has no interest in playing Ruben, Thornton or Davis. That really hurt our chances.

Dunleavy made several negative comments in the press this season. He should curb his OWN opinion for the sake of his team & fans of LA Clippers.

Dunleavy is a good coach. But during game situation, he has to loosen up & show more flexibility in rotation.
When game is ON, all it matters is WIN. If Maggette or Mobley or TT play tired & lose fucus... just rest them.

Bottomline: All eyes are on Dunleavy. Everyone knows this team has enough talent. Question is: Is Dunleavy smart & creative enough to spot them & play to his advantage?

As quoted from Legends of the Fall...

"here, read your darling tristan's letter"

It was nice that he hit his FT's... but can he EVER learn to not CHARGE into people 6 times a game? He gets bailed out half the time...

And the shots... what the hell is he doing? His shot selection looked worse than VC's yesterday.

Maybe it's a coincidence they won while he was in foul trouble the whole game..... or maybe not

Is this team cursed? On paper, this is a very good team if everyone is healthy.
On another note, why does the Clippers make so many careless mistakes, and shoot bad shots (Mobley is a ball hog!!! Stop shooting if your having a bad game!!!I hate you!!!AHHHHH!!!!!)? They should be better than this since they are the 3rd oldest team in the league.
Man oh man, this team makes you taste a lil bit of victory and gives you hope(05-06 season) only to put you back down again.
