Brand, Maggette had to wait until their market value set by signing offer sheets from other teams. How do you know the real market value of Kaman? Don't you think you spent $50 million on a player who'll only make your team worse?

You need a CENTER. Real center who will defend the basket by using his body & brain. Unfortunately, Kaman is no better player than Olowakandi. But they made you agree to reward big contract to this baby of Dunleavy & Jasen Powell. They discarded Chris Wilcox only to promote their favorite player. Until all your folks set aside their personal likings and learn to manage everything in professional manner, your team will never reach its potential.

The Clips have quite a few underachievers on the team right now.

Mobley, Thomas, Kaman, are three big ones that come to mind.

Perhaps the biggest one of all though is Dunleavy. This guy has lost any ability to motivate players. And the team needs to start playing more like a team.

I hate to be a doomsayer but I am looking at the reality before me. We are stuck with Kaman at ten million per year for the nest 5 years. We are stuck with MD SR and his inability to motivate his players to play defense for 4 more years. We have no choice but to hope Shaun develops into the big time PG that everyone has hyped him to be. We will be stuck with an unhappy Corey, who wants to be and should be a starter in spite of his shortcomings,(I can show you many good starters in the NBA with shortcomings greater than his). And to top it off we are at the cap with no wiggle room to make changes. I know that for many years the Clips had no success but at least with their contract situation they had hope. Since MD seemingly has taken over he has maneuvered them in to a corner. It was Dunleavy who insisted on giving Kaman a 50 million dollar contract. Now we have a center with a fat contract who is lost half the time and fouling the other half. It was Dunleavy who jumped at signing TT even though at the time it seemed like a good signing. Shouldn't the strategic basketball genius have understood the shortcomings of Thomas? Now what do we do? With this group we will not make the playoffs. If you look at last year I think it wasn't as spectacular as it seemed. Yes the stats were good but I think as a team they were playing over their heads. They still only bettered the Lakers by two games. The bar was set higher than ever before last year and they seem to be unable to make the leap over it. Let's get rid of the slugs whomever they may be and go all out for Iverson. It can't be any worse than it is now. At least he will generate some excitement and maybe just maybe some more wins.

Kaveman is better than 80 pecent of all the centers in the NBA. The problem with the clippers is that they can't shoot an outside shot to save their life. I wish we could get Vlad back and get rid of thomas. Also I think livingston and maggette are worth trading to the sixers. livingston has potential but I would like to see us win NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
