Anyone who thinks that Q. Ross is a big time NBA player, as insinuated in Friday's comments, has very little understanding of the NBA. He is a role player, at best. and giving Maggette's minutes to him is absolutely asinine.

His defensive contributions will never outweigh what Maggette will deliver on O. It is a negative sum game.

But that is only one of the problems that this team faces.

Still waiting for Dunceleavy's pick of Korolev to amount to something.

I too blame coach that much of the team has the flu.

If only he was more like phil jackson who...wait, they also just lost to NYK and TOR and IND.

If MDSr. is fired he will be replaced with someone much cheaper and MUCH worse. Time to grow up.

Corey is part of the problem; not the solution. That trade for MDJr is looking better everyday.

Corey got 26 minutes and scored only 8 points and committed 5 turnovers. That's 1/4 the team's total.

It looks like EB is coming back to form though. That will help.

This team needs offense, and Q Ross doesn't provide that (although he did in college...what happened?)

Corey tries to hard now, and everybody knows he loves to drive to the basket and try to get the foul, which lately he just gets the charge and turn-over.

Dunleavy is predictable in his coaching so he is getting outcoached at every turn. Defense may win championships (Detroit), but they had offensive weapons and game strategy the Clippers don't. I agree, it does take 20 seconds for a play to come to fruition for this team, which is BS.

Dunleavy will not be fired and Maggette wil not be traded (until summertime). I doubt Korolev will be resigned after this season, he was another terrible pick by the Clipper organization along the lines of Bo Kimble, Olowakandi, Danny Ferry and Randy WTF Woods.

Trips like this make me sad. I feel bad that sometimes i hope we don't make the playoffs so we can get a lottery pick, and Minnesotta does make the playoffs so we can get their draft pick. Oy, something needs to change, Cassell isn't getting any younger.

But to look on the bright side, San Antonio just went 2-4 on their 6-game road trip. And the Lakers lost! (small victories are all i can shoot for for now).

To John R. why does cheaper mean worse? You are a typical no-nothing fan who thinks that the only good coaches have to be paid multi-millions. Do you think Cuban paid Avery Johnson a ton when he was first hired? Nate McMillian? Flip Saunders? Popovich? They were all no-name who were CHEAP, and were inspired choices.

But keep on thinking Q.Ross brings more to the team than Maggette, you've drank the Dunceleavy kool-aid.

I'm sorry, when an NBA team can't score more than 18 points in 3 out of 4 quarters in a game, something is terribly wrong. Dunleavy stresses defense, but when you have NO offense, it doesn't matter. Especially against a team that has like 3 new starters who haven't played that much with each other so shouldn't know the rotations as well. The Clippers aren't hungry this year, and I feel like that is the coaches fault, plain and simple!

Being a big Clippers fan when me and about 2000 of my best friends would show up at the ol' Sports Aroma and cheered them on when they only won 12 games a year - STOP CRYING. After all '51 games into the season the clips are a game under .500' - back in the day I would have popped the champange and toasted the Clippers. Patience Clipper faithful and good things will happen.

but now, what the hell is going on in the clipper locker room? Doug Christie asks to be let go? The dude has a 10 day contract. This is dunlevy. The problem with the clips isn't lack of talent and it aint xs and os..it's something in the locker room, it's tone. it's maggs vs. baldy. But is that it? what is really going on in there that's destroying this team a game and a player at a time...and is it the coach's responsiblity?
