Even if he had zero points tonight, Kaman has been huge. O'Neal can't get anything going. He's been just about flawless.

I was watching the game tonight, thinking about the high hopes I had for this season. Kind of sad...Brand not the player he was, Kaman not living up to expectations...Livingston out...Sam hurt... Geez. What a season so far.

It was refreshing to have Ewing pushing the ball up court on every possession. There is more movement in the offense and he has a better shot than Shaun.

I like the new look.

except when Kaman got played by Tinsley. Don't think I have never seen the ball thru the defenders legs in an NBA game.

Kaman also made an interesting pass to some dude in the second row.

Otherwise, a nice game.

Its very interesting to me to see the standards some people have.

If that was Ewing pushing the ball (he was close to 8 seconds just about every possession) I would hate to see him NOT pushing the ball. Perhaps you were being facetious and I didn't get it? The very low scores for both teams indicate both squads worked together to not push it up.

If Kaman is criticized for that performance, 16 points on 13 shots, 2 blocks 2 steals and only the 1 turnover while he held Jermaine O'Neal to 9 hard fought points, I don't know what folks want. I made the post before his pass out of bounds, but it doesn't change a thing. If that Kaman showed up every night he would start for probably 27 or 28 teams in the league.

When Maggette handles the ball, it's hard to double/triple team Brand. Confusion & uncertainty creeps in to defenders minds. Absence of Cassell & Shaun will force Dunleavy to explore new weapons.

Let's see how they measure up against Spurs.

If he isn't hurt, why doesn't he show up every night? I think we could accept it if he was simply getting out played.

I can only perceive his inconsistant flashes of greatness, as a 50 million dollar fat cat, who plays when he wants to...like the rest of the team.

As STHers, we don't expect the championship, but we do appreciate a team we can relate to. A team that goes out, punches the clock and goes to work.

I like how you are the voice of reason on this board - and while it's unfair to take out our frustrations on Kaman for this particular game, his inconsistency is baffling / warrants criticism.
