I can't believe the NBA had the gall to put a game that they knew Clipper faithful on a terrible basketball day like New Years Eve. There's no way that the NBA didn't know how damn important that game would be to us Clipper fans. You'd think they would at least give us a TNT slot for that game. Yet another slight against the franchise; thanks for nothing Stern & Co.

No..the Kobe v. Shaq was on Xmas day. Nobody goes to the NYE game, and nobody is watching basketball either. Everyone is already partying or en route to their NYE party. I have had tix for 7 years and haven't been to the NYE game once. This is the NBA being cute with their scheduling once again

-Pistons vs Spurs: I've never found when these two teams met up to be boring.Would be better though if Ben Wallace was still around.

-Wizards vs Cavaliers- I think Wizards will figure out a way to get past Lebron. Note getting a big starting Center may help. Haywood would be good off the bench.

Heat vs Bulls: Draft pick one vs two. Also the Bulls did eliminate the Heat from the Playoffs a couple of years ago.

I disagree ACD, Stern has to know that alot of Clips fans are pissed at what happened and them putting the game on this day (cause nobody will be there or watching on TV) diffuses the situation somewhat. Philly goes on a west coast road trip that time of year every year and they most probably could have put this game on a TV game day but chose this day instead.

ACD, this has absolutely nothing to do with a conspiracy theory or anything of the like. The simple fact of the matter is that everytime we play on New Years Eve, a game that nearly nobody watches, it's a further example of what a joke the league perceives us as. And to make it the 76ers and Benedict Brand enhances the slap in the face. We care about this game, the NBA does not. Simple and plain.

With that all said, I will gladly put my New Year's plans on hold in order to attend this game. I can't wait to boo Benedict Brand.

For the Clippers I'm not 100% sure they have to win this game but they have to show they are equals as a team. I wouldn't be mad at a 1-3 point loss. But I for damn sure would be happy with a win.

SG* K.Bryant vs C.Mobley=Bryant (I bet Mobley will play his ass off trying tocontain Kobe though)

SF* L.Odom vs A.Thorton= Before Summer league I would have said Odom due to experience. But Thorton is improving his all around game and will make Odom hustle offens and defense wise. Odom really has the 2-inch height advantage.

PF* P.Gasol vs M.Camby= Camby, it all depends on Gasol if he plays soft like he sometimes does Camby will kill him. If Gasol goes strong than its even.

C* A.Bynum (maybe) vs C.Kaman= Kaman, I really believe this Olymic experince will boost Kaman confidence and make him even better player than he was last season.

Bench* LAL vs LAC= Slightly towards LAL since their big factors are Farmar,Sasha,Ariza, and Luke(maybe not a big factor but a contributor). And our big time guys off the bench are Davis, Thomas, and maybe Gorden/Jordan(hard to say in a rookie season).

Dont ask me why but i attended the new years eve game against minnesota last season and the game was over by ten ,which gave me time to drink cheap wine and count down.

This is the only time Felton will be in town, Please tell all of your friends and lets have a sell out game to create the loudest rumble of booing in recent history.

GSW IS NOT better than the Clips. They have no BD, no real bigs, no post game, and they took on a train wreck called Corey Maggette (no passing, poor decision-making, no D, no 3's, no clutch shooting, too many turnovers, get stripped of the ball too often when driving, doesn't convert layups when fouled). 20+ points per game and a high scoring efficiency sounds great, but a team has to pay a high price to get that out of him. Clippers are now better off and more fun to watch without him.

I cant wait till Dec. 31st, i bet EB is hoping there isn't many people in attendance with it being new years eve.
