The Los Angeles Clippers hosted six prospects for pre-Draft workouts on June 6, 2016: Oklahoma PG Isaiah Cousins (Sr.), Northwestern PG Tre Demps (Grad.), Iowa State SF Georges Niang (Sr.), Baylor SF Taurean Prince (Sr.), Weber State PF Joel Bolomboy (Sr.), and Iowa State PF Jameel McKay (Sr.).
Clippers PF Blake Griffin was also at the training facility on Monday:
RIP Sean Rooks, heart and soul of the 2001 Clippers.
Marc Stein is reporting this today: “Rivers is planning to move assistant coach Lawrence Frank into a high-ranking position in the Clippers’ front office to assist Rivers on personnel matters.”
Well, obviously the Clippers have to do something to help themselves with personnel matters, but this isn’t enough, not nearly enough. Rivers still will be in charge and he still will make all of the foolish kind of bad judgment moves he’s made nonstop since he got here three years ago.
The Clippers simply have to completely take away all of Rivers power over personnel decisions.
Rivers already has caused great damage to the Clippers through his horrendous personnel moves. They likely will not be able to recover from the damage he’s already done. But at least they can stop him from doing more.
Brendan O’Connor got moved to the bench the report says.
Also Kevin Eastman (bench and front office) is retiring.
Doesn’t sound like any of this matters
